Ahmed Salvador received his MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and his BFA from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is a photography instructor at Fleisher Art Memorial. Ahmed balances his work between solo projects and ones made with a collaborator. These have been exhibited in various spaces in Philadelphia: at the Halide Project, Space 1026, with InLiquid, Wanderlife Gallery, and at the Sol Mednick Gallery. Additionally, at the ViPhotofest in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, Columbia College's Hardwick Gallery in Missouri, and at the Palace of the Governors in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His solo work has recently been featured in print with Iterant magazine and Vigilante Darkroom Zine. Last year, collaborative work was published online with an interview in Alternative Processes, in print with Analog Explorations and was presented at Equinoks, 'a festival of experimental improvisation' in Luton, England. In 2024, collaborative work was exhibited at No.5 Butchie Alley in Philadelphia. Further collaborative work will be shown at William Woods University in Missouri and at Chimaera Gallery in Philadelphia.
